My Integrity and Yours

Character building starts with having integrity; to act according with a sense of what is right or wrong, good or bad, permissible or impermissible.
You and I will never be sorry:
For thinking before speaking,
For hearing before judging,
For forgiving your enemies,
For being candid and frank,
For helping a fallen friend,
For being honest in business,
For thinking before acting,
For being loyal to your monastery,
For standing for your principles,
For bridling a slanderous tongue,
For stopping your ears to gossip,
For harboring only pure thoughts,
For sympathizing with the afflicted,
For being courteous and generous to the needy,
For being kind to ALL!
